Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) – Vodder Method
Developed by Dr. Emil Vodder in the 1930s in Austria, the Vodder Method is a specialised form of Manual Lymphatic Drainage designed to support the natural flow of lymph throughout the body. It uses very gentle, rhythmic, and precise movements that stimulate lymphatic vessels without deep pressure or compression.
This method follows a structured sequence that always begins by stimulating the lymph nodes in the neck and main drainage areas before working through the body. This supports efficient fluid movement and helps the body’s natural detoxification and recovery processes.
